Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Thanks guys, I stayed with the B.F Goodrich G-Force tires that where on the car, they where 275 x 40x 17's.
I went with the Pacesetter Headers and thier Cat Y-Pipes, hooked up to Matt Murphy's, "GMMG" Chambered Exhaust system.
We went with the Hosskiss 2 inch lowering kit.
This car was a one owner, 7 year lease car some Company had on thier books, for the wife to drive. It has only 33,000 miles on her. (the car I mean...lol)
I also did some research on line at the various F-Body sites, and find out this is a very RARE CAR. It seems that there were only 478 Convertible SS built that year, and ONLY 281 with an Automatic, and ONLY 144 RED CONVERTS !!!

Hi James, the GMMG cost $700.00, and the Pacesetters long tubes and Y-Pipe with Cats cost $ 756.00. Tack on $ 275.00 for removal and install, it comes to around $1730.00, but well worth it.
It is like having "CUT OUTS". nice and quite at the light, and if you take off nice and slow/normal, there is a nice purr, or rummble. But if you nail it, you can wake up the whole town. Upwards of 117 db's. That's what WMMC Alan blew a couple of weeks ago on the meter, at a car show, where they had a loud pipes contest. He also won first place!
GMMG is worth the price over Borla and the others.
