  • sbc 350 4 bolt main

    hello
    I have a 70's sbc 350 4 bolt main i have the whole engine oil pan to carb. it needs to be rebuilt. i am not possitive but i believe everything is .30 over on it. but it is a good solid block and all the parts come with it. $75 o/b let me know. i will get pics up tomorrow if i can.

    Pics please. Do you know what the engine came out of? What kind of heads?

      i am not able to get pics until atleast tomorrow i need the cord to my camera but my sister has it. the engine came out of a 70's truck and heads i am not sure what they are. i will get you pics tomorrow

              well i dont really want to sell it that cheap. I know its well worth what i am asking. i will give it a while before i am that desperate to get rid of it.

                if you lived closer i would take it but i have no use for it right now and don't want to drive that far.

                  Can you get me the ID numbers off the block and heads please? If they are what I am looking for I might offer more.

                    sorry it took me so long the only numbers left on the engine are 3970010 and on the heads say gm52 not sure if those are the numbers you need but all i know bout the heads is that they have the smaller valves i was told by someone who looked at it that the heads dont match the year of the block but idk for sure. hope this helps

                            That is the same engine block I have. Here is some info on it...

                            3970010.... 350 CID... Used 69-80...2 or 4 Bolt main

                            The heads there is a number listed between the rockers under the valve covers. Can you please get any pics of the heads, especially the top showing the rockers? I am guessing with this block the heads are probably an 882 casting but I could be wrong.
