well I was finally able to put some money together and got these.....

They are 17 by 9.5 and i plan on going with 275 40r 17 tires. The reason i went with 17's is because i still wanted to have a decent ride and the roads around here can be unforgiving at times. Anyways in the next week i should be able to buy some tires. I can't freakin wait to get these on the car.

those are sweet, does it make a big difference in ride comfert going from 17in rims to like 18s?

well the side wall would most likely be shorter and then it is harder to fit 18's on 4th gens.

I'm trying to get em monuted but i'm trying to figure out what tires I want to run on them, at first i was looking at BFG's but i was wondering if anyone has tried any other cheaper tires that had good results. BFG's are gonna run me like 650 for tires.

Dude I got some 285's off ebay, brand new, just over $200 for 2. They're Defender ZR's, kinda look like the BFG tread pattern which is why I got them. I have BFG's on the front and I needed something quick and cheap to get home from Florida. They turned out to be pretty good. You can probably get 4 275's for around $400 or so.

well rims and tires are going on tomorow after i get outta work, i actually found a good deal on BFG's at sam's club of all places. I'm getting 275 40 17's for 150 a tire so i'm pretty happy. Does anyone think i might have a rubbing issue due to width, because i think i could go with a 255 45r 17 too if that would work out better. I really don't have the power to burn a tire that wide anyways so if i can go 255 then it would save 30 more a tire. Finally is it possible to fit 4 stock rims and tires in the back you think?

it is possible to fit 4 tires in the back with the seat down. so as long as the tires are still mounted to the wheels, you will have no problem. i picked up a set of 235/45/r16 and had them in the back of my last camaro no problem. you possibly might have to have the passenger seat leaning forward, but i am not sure but they do fit.
